Options for Women has been serving Polk County for over 45 years. We have helped thousands of women by providing accurate pregnancy information to empower them to make informed decisions.
Our clinic is overseen by a medical doctor who is board-certified, licensed and has hospital privileges. Our medical staff includes RNs and RDMS trained ultrasound techs. Options for Women is special because all of our services are free including pregnancy tests, ultrasounds, STI testing for males and females, wellness referrals and peer counseling.
Because all of our services are free, we have no investment in our patient’s decisions. Therefore, each woman is given the information they need to make the best choice for them. After meeting with one of our advocates, they will leave our clinic with community resources and medical information that will help them make their final decision knowing that they are supported by the Options staff. Our staff is patient, non-judgmental, compassionate and works with excellence.
Options for Women serves patients in Lakeland and Bartow. Currently we are building a new clinic on Florida Avenue, a very well-traveled road that runs from the town of Mulberry through north Lakeland. This building will allow Options for Women to serve 3-4 times as many patients.
